CALL FOR SOCIAL PARTNER NOMINATIONS
COMET INTERREG PARTNERSHIP
COMET is an association of 6 local authorities and 6 Local Strategy Partnerships within the Greater Belfast Metropolitan region of Northern Ireland including:-

COMET was established in 2002 as a vehicle for collaboration between the members on a range of policy, social, economic and environmental issues.
COMET now wants to establish an INTERREG Partnership which must be based on the existing Local Strategy Partnership model comprising 50% representation from governance (local authorities) and 50% representation from social partners (business, community/voluntary, trade unions and the rural sectors). Membership of the Interreg Partnership shall ensure an equal geographical representation.
Having already attained the required local authority representations nominations are now invited from Social Partners within the areas listed above. Applications are particularly welcome from current Board Members of LSPs within the metropolitan area.
